- Eliminate wrapper script links in common bin
directory.
/opt/TWWfsw/bin will contain only links into
/opt/TWWfsw/package/bin and the binaries under
/opt/TWWfsw/package/bin will either be wrapper
scripts setting up the environment for the real binaries or wrapper
scripts that simply execute the real binaries under
/opt/TWWfsw/package/bin/.bin. This avoids existing
issues around setting up the environment when multiple versions of a
package are installed simultaneously.
- Create a separate data directory that is searched
by Perl, Python, Ruby, and Tcl to locate additional 3rd-party modules.
This avoids existing issues around packages with built-in 3rd-party
modules being installed before either Perl, Python, Ruby, or Tcl.
